Yet there’s plenty to do to help you recharge your batteries. You’ll find numerous lochside and forest walks, including the Dalavich Oakwood Trail, and a number of attractive cycle routes. Bikes and boats are available for hire in the village. Keep your eyes peeled for wildlife and you might even spot an otter, a wildcat or an eagle en route. And if you’re more interested on the wildlife on the end of your fishing line, some of the largest brown trout in Europe are waiting to be caught in Loch Awe. You're sure to catch trout in Loch Avich - just 10 minutes' drive away -  and fishing permits are available locally.
